Ronnie Ricketts Prioritizes Family Over Simultaneous Careers
Veteran actor Ronnie Ricketts explains why he and his wife, actress Mariz Ricketts, rarely work on projects concurrently. In an interview with phl63, Ricketts emphasized the importance of spending quality time with their daughters, stating, “When she has work, I try my best to avoid taking on projects myself.”
The couple, married for over 30 years, believes it’s crucial to be present in their daughters’ lives, even as they navigate adulthood. “We want to be there for their milestones, even their love stories,” Ricketts shared.
Ricketts’ current project, the action-drama series “Mga Batang Riles,” allows him to balance his career with family life. He plays a martial arts mentor while also co-directing the fight scenes, showcasing his expertise in martial arts.
Beyond acting, Ricketts remains active in his construction business and a physical therapy clinic. He and Mariz prioritize a close-knit family dynamic, ensuring at least one parent is always at home.
