“Wolfs”: Clooney and Pitt Shine at Venice Film Festival

Hollywood icons George Clooney and Brad Pitt are stealing the spotlight at the 81st Venice Film Festival with their new action comedy, “Wolfs.” The film pits two professional “lone wolf” fixers against each other, promising intrigue and humor. Fans eagerly await the stars’ arrival by water taxi for the world premiere on Sunday evening.

The festival has been a star-studded affair, featuring red carpet appearances by Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, and even Angelina Jolie (Pitt’s ex-wife). But the excitement doesn’t stop there. On Monday, Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton will grace the Lido in Pedro Almodovar’s latest film. Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix take center stage on Wednesday with the premiere of “Joker: Folie a Deux,” the sequel to the acclaimed “Joker.”

In “Wolfs,” Clooney and Pitt play more than colleagues; they’re accomplices navigating unexpected twists after a high-profile crime. Director Jon Watts brings their chemistry to life in this Apple TV+ production. Catch it in limited theaters before its global streaming release on Apple TV+ on September 27.

And that’s not all—Sunday also features the premiere of “The Brutalist,” a thought-provoking three-and-a-half-hour film by American director Brady Corbet. Meanwhile, Almodovar returns on Monday with “The Room Next Door,” starring Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton. And keep an eye out for Daniel Craig in Tuesday’s premiere of “Queer,” an adaptation of William Burroughs’ novel set in 1940s Mexico City.

The Venice Film Festival continues to dazzle with its cinematic offerings, proving that love for the silver screen never dies. 🎥✨
