MANILA, Philippines — Carlos Yulo, the double Olympic gold medalist, was all smiles as he toured his newly acquired P32-million, fully furnished three-bedroom condominium in McKinley Hill, Taguig.
The Olympian visited the first of his two promised real estate rewards, part of the substantial incentives he received for winning gold in both the men’s floor and men’s vault events in Artistic Gymnastics. The second property is a P6-million house and lot package in Nasugbu, Batangas.
According to a Facebook post by Megaworld earlier today, ‘The 100-square-meter condo unit is fully furnished and equipped with home appliances, including a refrigerator, microwave oven, four-burner cooktop with oven, washing and drying machines, four smart televisions, and even a game console, which Carlos can enjoy with his friends and family during his free time.
The real estate giant disclosed that Yulo’s upgraded condo features two balconies, accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom, offering stunning views of the township and the entire property.
To add a personal touch to Yulo’s unit, the company commissioned an artist to create a custom-made nesting coffee table that features a replica of his gold medal from the Paris Olympic Games.
Yulo’s three-bedroom unit also has its own maid’s room with toilet and bath and its own parking slot.
Megaworld upgraded his incentive after Yulo won his second gold the night after his first gold during the men’s floor event. He was initially promised a P24-million two-bedroom unit.
Apart from the fully-furnished condo, the company also gave a special leaf art and P3 million cash reward.
The Olympian champion has been raking cash and non-cash incentives after winning the Philippines’ historic double gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
