The song quickly soared to the top of the UK’s Official Singles Chart, marking the highest position ever achieved by a female K-pop soloist. This overwhelming fan reception underscores Jennie’s immense popularity.
On October 19, 2024, the Official Charts, akin to the U.S. Billboard Charts, revealed that “Mantra” debuted at number 37, setting a new record for female K-pop soloists. Previously, Jennie’s bandmate Jisoo held the record with her solo debut track “FLOWER,” which peaked at number 38 last year.
“Mantra” also went viral on social media and dominated iTunes charts globally, securing the number one spot in 47 countries, including the U.S., Brazil, Singapore, Mexico, and the Philippines. It is the only song by a female K-pop soloist to top the U.S. iTunes chart in 2024.
