Jillian Ward Embraces Grown-Up Roles in New GMA Series “My Ilonggo Girl”

Jillian Ward, the former child star, is transitioning into a more mature phase of her career with her latest GMA Network project, “My Ilonggo Girl.” This primetime series marks a significant step for the soon-to-be 20-year-old actress, venturing into the world of romantic-comedies and leading lady roles. The series boasts a powerhouse cast composed of both young, and seasoned actors, including Michael Sager, Teresa Loyzaga, Arra San Agustin, Lianne Valentin and Arlene Muhlach, alongside Empoy Marquez, Yasser Marta, Richard Quan, Andrea del Rosario, Vince Maristela, Patricia Ismael, Yesh Burce, youngsters Sabreenika Santos, Geo Mhanna, and veteran actress Carla Martinez.

 

“My Ilonggo Girl” presents Ward with her first serious on-screen romance with Michael Sager, a challenge she embraces despite initial shyness. The series, premiering tonight at 9:35 PM, explores themes of love, family, and personal growth, showcasing Ward’s versatility as an actress.
