“Let’s just put it out there!” – Actor Jericho Rosales has officially confirmed his relationship with fellow star Janine Gutierrez during an emotional tribute at the wake of her grandmother, legendary singer Pilita Corrales.
The Lavender Fields star attended the memorial service to support Gutierrez’s family, praising their closeness in a heartfelt speech captured on video. “If you want a definition of a family, this is it,” he shared before casually admitting his romantic ties to Gutierrez with a smile: “I’m her boyfriend. Let’s just put it out there!”
Rosales also revealed a personal connection to Corrales’ music. His mother, Rosario, who battles Alzheimer’s, finds solace in the late icon’s songs. “Her music transcends memory—it’s embedded in her heart,” he said, adding that Gutierrez and Rosario often bond over tearful renditions of Paglisan.
The event followed back-to-back losses for Gutierrez, whose other grandmother, National Artist Nora Aunor, passed away days after Corrales at age 71.
