Heart Evangelista Addresses Alleged Rift with Pia Wurtzbach
MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso star Heart Evangelista has finally spoken out about the rumored conflict with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. In a video shared by The STAR’s Entertainment editor Nathalie Tomada, Heart was asked about the alleged feud.
“Woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia,” Heart clarified. “In fact, I was one of those who cheered for her in the past. She was so sweet, even using and posting the hashtag ‘Heart May Be You.’ I was so proud at that time.”
Heart mentioned that the issue stems from the people around Pia, hinting at a past fallout with her glam team, who now work with Pia. “It’s the people she chose to surround herself with that makes this whole thing problematic,” Heart explained.
Heart offered advice to Pia, wishing her well and hoping she avoids similar issues. “Congratulations. You have what you needed. I wish you nothing but the best and good luck,” she said. “Sana hindi mangyari sayo ‘yung nangyari sa akin,” she concluded.
