Daniel Craig’s Thoughts on His James Bond Successor
In a recent promotional event in Manila, English actor Daniel Craig shared his thoughts on who should succeed him as James Bond. Accompanied by American actor Drew Starkey, the duo participated in a fun quiz game hosted by Variety that tested their knowledge of each other.
During the game, Craig was humorously challenged to recall how many Bond films he starred in. After a light-hearted moment, he confirmed he had appeared in five films: “Casino Royale,” “Quantum of Solace,” “Skyfall,” “Spectre,” and “No Time to Die.” When asked about his preferred successor for the iconic role, Craig simply stated, “I don’t care,” while doodling on his board, showcasing his laid-back attitude.
Since Craig’s departure from the role, several actors have been speculated as potential successors, including Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who is currently the frontrunner for the role. However, EON Productions, the long-time producers of the Bond franchise, have yet to make an official announcement.
Craig’s legacy as Bond follows a lineage of legendary actors, including Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and Pierce Brosnan, each leaving their mark on the beloved character.
