Claudine Barretto Stands with Jojo Mendrez in Legal Battle Against Mark Herras
MANILA, Philippines — Celebrity Claudine Barretto publicly expressed her support for businessman-singer Jojo Mendrez after he filed a case against actor Mark Herras. In an emotional Facebook video, Barretto reassured Mendrez, saying, “Don’t be afraid—you have many people who love and support you.”
Barretto shared that she had been trying to contact Mendrez after learning about his situation. “I just came from Lanao and Cagayan, where there’s no signal, but I wanted you to know I stand with you,” she said. She also warned him to be cautious of abusive people, adding, “If you’re hurting right now, I’m hurting too. You’re not alone in this fight.”
The actress vowed 100% support, saying, “No one should abuse or use you. Remember, I love you as a friend and sister.” This comes after Mendrez filed a legal complaint against Herras, who has since responded via showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz.
