Benedict and Sophie’s Cinderella Story Teased in New ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Stills – Plus Polin’s Baby Reveal
Netflix’s hit Regency romance series, Bridgerton, is back with a sneak peek into its highly anticipated fourth season, and fans are in for a treat. New stills and teasers reveal Benedict Bridgerton’s (Luke Thompson) enchanting Cinderella-inspired romance with Sophie Beckett (Yerin Ha), as well as a heartwarming glimpse of Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton’s (Luke Newton) newborn baby.
In the latest teaser, titled The Season of Love, Netflix hints at the magical masquerade ball where Benedict first encounters the mysterious Lady in Silver, later revealed to be Sophie. The scene captures the pair under a gazebo, with Benedict in a striking black suit and mask, playfully assuring Sophie, “Do not worry. I will not tell my mother.” This moment sets the stage for their whirlwind romance, inspired by Julia Quinn’s beloved novels.
Sophie’s dual identity as a maid and a lady adds a layer of intrigue to the story, as Benedict remains unaware of her secret. Fans of the books will recognize the classic Cinderella elements, including Sophie’s wicked stepsisters and stepmother, portrayed by Harry Potter star Katie Leung.
Meanwhile, the Bridgerton household celebrates the arrival of Penelope and Colin’s baby, a redhead just like Penelope, adding a touch of joy to the season.
