MANILA, Philippines — Actress Ataska has shared her remarkable journey from being a contestant on “The Voice Kids Season 2” to becoming one of the prominent actresses on Vivamax.

In a recent interview, Ataska revealed that she has been with Viva for nearly a decade. “I was in ‘The Voice Kids Season 2,’ and after that, I signed with Viva. I’ve been with Viva for almost 10 years now. I’ve done numerous acting projects and started as a recording artist,” she said.

Ataska also mentioned her roles as a VJ and host for various movie press conferences, including those for Vivamax. She expressed her interest in Vivamax, describing the platform as groundbreaking and daring. Ataska does not regret her decision to take on sexy roles for Vivamax, as she was the one who proposed the idea to Viva boss Vic Del Rosario.

“As a huge fan of films, I wanted to explore new things in acting. I pitched the idea to Boss Vic about trying Vivamax,” she explained. “Initially, everyone, including Boss Vic, was hesitant, but I was sure it was a great opportunity for me. I don’t regret anything.”

Recently named Most Promising Actress of the Year at the 4th Annual Lustre Global Awards, Ataska is ending the year with a powerful performance in “Lamas.” She plays Mona, a sheltered yet rebellious daughter working in a small-town bakery under her father’s watchful eye. Mona’s life takes a turn when she meets Lucy, a new worker who inspires her to live on her own terms.

Directed by Christian Paolo Lat, “Lamas” is now streaming on Vivamax.
